What is it?

Career Center is an initiative to enable BITSAA Members to tap into one of the greatest strengths of being a BITSian - the Alumni. Career Center is a portal within BITSAA.org that enables alumni to request for and post information that assist towards professional awareness and development. One can upload resume, post a job opening, exchange interview experiences, understand career trends, find contacts and perhaps, even find the right person for a job.

Why Career Centre?

One of Career Center’s ongoing efforts are directed at integrating all alumni job networks (in the form of un-moderated Job-Yahoo groups) across the world (Yes, from Pilani to Silicon Valley) and being a one-stop-shop to know about new opportunities, apply for them. In the long run, BITSAA Career Center will take a more interactive shape where alumni can exchange experiences, organize online seminars and even counsel one another.

In short, Career Center is the "Placement Notice Board" that every BITSian would have to religiously check - be it a curious first yearite, a nervous psenti-semite on-campus, an accomplished alumnus looking for the next career move, a BITSian Manager looking to hire fellow BITSian's into his projects. Come join us as we create our "One stop job-portal" : for and by BITSian's to post openings, submit resumes, collect resumes for openings - targeting both alumni and students.
