BITSAA Impact:

Tanmayee Kher

I am Tanmayee, a third year student of Mechanical Engineering, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus. I have been born and brought up in Mumbai, but love travelling the country, and am a complete foodie. I am interested in journalism and managerial activities. I have been a Star Correspondent for the student edition of the Times, for a couple of years. I am also involved in drama, and like contributing to activities on campus. I have been playing badminton since school, and have reached the District Level Finals. I thank the donors for instituting this scholarship for the students' assistance. Their help in lightening our financial burden is deeply appreciated.

 Palak Jain
A student of maths and electronics and instrumentation. Want to pursue and MBA after graduation.I express my sincere gratitude for the contribution made by my you to improve and enhance my life. I really appreciate the time and thought you have spent to help students in reaching their career goals.

Nikita Mogla

My father is a businessman and my mother gives private tuitions to school students. I’ve a sister who is also doing engineering (computer science). I applied for MCN scholarship because the maximum part of my parent’s earnings is spent on our studies and in my sister’s college there is no such provision of giving scholarship. After completing my engineering I want to go for civil services. I felt very happy and appreciative to know that I was the recipient of our alumni scholarship. I’m very grateful to BITSAA for giving me this scholarship. This scholarship is great source of motivation for me as it has lightened the burden of my parents and now I can concentrate more on my goals. Once again I’m very grateful for this scholarship.

Swetha Susan George

I am Swetha Susan George, a third year student enrolled in M.Sc. Chemistry and B.E. Computer Science. I had applied for MCN because of financial difficulty due to my father’s sudden demise. I’m proud to be a part of this premier institute which sets benchmarks in all spheres of science. I have won first prize for a paper presentation at BITS Pilani, Apogee-2012 and second prize in an event in Oasis-2011. Currently, I am the joint coordinator of Chemistry association and event coordinator of Computer Science association. I am also a member of Mobile Computing Group BITS-Pilani. I am interested in neural networks, machine learning, image processing and parallel computing and would like to take advance training in these areas. I am grateful for being endowed with this scholarship.
