BITSAA Impact:
1) Ashutosh Pandey:
I, Ashutosh Pandey,
studied B.E. (Hons.)-Mechanical Engineering programme at
BITS Pilani (Pilani
Campus) during 2008-2012. I was born and raised in the Faizabad district, UP. I belong to a lower middle class family.
Though my family had financial problems but my parents always provided me the
best education possible. They used their life savings to pay for my tuition
fee. Luckily in year 2009 I got to know from BITSAA team about Hiralal
Agarwal Memorial scholarship which was announced to support the financially
weak and meritorious students hailing from the Faizabad district. Considering
my family’s financial conditions I applied immediately and was awarded the same
in year 2009. And it helped me a lot to pursue my degree at BITS without
worrying about the financial trouble.
Currently I am working
as a Patent Research Analyst (Mechanical Domain) at a startup in Jaipur.
Academically I would like to do research work in the area of Computational
Fluid Dynamics. My goal in life is to always learn new things and to help
people who are not lucky as I am. In
future I would like to do some work in the education sector for the poor
children who cannot afford good education.
I sincerely thank the
donors of the Hiralal Agarwal Memorial scholarship. It is a great inspiration
for me and I will follow their noble cause so that I can help another needy
student in future.
