How it all started:
Pritwiraj Moulik, a III yearite at the Pilani campus, became the only undergraduate in the world to get a paper accepted at the American Society of Civil Engineers' GeoCongress 2008 at New Orleans in March 2008. In order to facilitate his travel to New Orleans to attend the conference, the BITSAA Board of Directors announced the creation of the "BITSAA Travel Scholarship" and decided to confer the first scholarship to Pritwiraj. BITSAA also awarded the scholarship to Team Acyut for their participation in Robogames, 2008.
