	BITS.aid ~ BITSians for the Community BITS.aid is a community to AID all BITSian volunteering activities. We are the global face of BITS volunteering program. BITS.aid is the forum for BITSians who want to participate in leading initiatives or volunteering for the community. What is BITS.aid all about? It's all about coming together in a small way to make a BIG impact. It's all about giving back to the community. Somewhere deep within, many of us have the urge to do something that would change the world, even at a micro level that would aid people who need some help. That's the objective of BITS.aid - to provide BITSians an interface to interact with each other in an efficient way. Some BITSians have taken initiatives to make a difference (see ongoing PROJECTS). And there are others who want to help in good causes but do not know how to go about it. You may belong to either school of thought - generate ideas and lead initiatives or volunteer for ongoing initiatives. BITS.aid will help these schools of thought converge for the greater good of the community. If you are still with me, YOU are the one who should join us, because you are the one who can make a difference - to the community and to yourself. We provide a robust platform for project leaders in reaching out to the BITSAA network to locate and enroll volunteers. How do we help the BITS.aid volunteers? 1. Volunteers can get information about ongoing projects in their geographical area through our database. 2. We can help you find volunteering activities that you may be interested in. 3.
