Chiran Fort
Club: For those who have not visited, Chiran Fort Club, the vintage
building of 1890s, is part of the seven-palace complex in Begumpet. It
was built by the Paigah Noble Nawab Iqbal-ud-Dowla, Viqar- ul-Umra, the
architecture is a fine example of the blending of Moghal-Rajput and
Qutub Shahi styles. Arched facades, grand courtyards and intricate
stucco work in the spacious interiors are testimony to the scale and
richness of the architectural style in Hyderabad at the turn of the last
century.
