Our first annual event in 2001 was
a blast. We had 250 people dancing and partying into the night - it was
a wonderful combination of Pilani musicnites and Roctaves all over again.
Thanks to our generous alumni, we also met our fundraising goals and raised
enough funds to support two full-tution scholarships at BITS.
We are back with a bigger and better
event for 2002. This will be the biggest congregation of BITSIANS outside
of Pilani - we expect 400 BITSIANS and spouses to attend. Dr. S. Venkateswaran, Director
of BITS Pilani, is coming all the way from Pilani for this event. Profits
from the Music Night will continue to fund good causes at BITS.
This memorable evening has something
for everyone - a hilarious movie on BITS, networking, socializing, entertainment, a spectacular live band comprising
several former BITS Music Club members, dancing, dinner and even specially
organized entertainment for your children. Children below three years go
free, and up to the ages of nine go at half price! Students get a big discount.
We also have some exciting sports memorabilia for this year's auctions.
