Dear Alums
We are pleased to announce that annual gathering for the year 2006 has been organized on 19th August 2006. This is a departure from traditional 15th August as date for annual gathering and there is a good reason.
This gathering will feature some luminaries from BITS as special guests. We are proud to inform you that Prof L K Maheshwari who has recently taken over as Vice Chancellor BITS Pilani will be the Chief Guest of the evening. Other special guests would be inimitable legendary "Diro" and ex-Vice Chancellor of BITS Prof S Venkateswaran and B R Natarajan aka "Nattu, Dean of DLPD. Many other prominent ex-BITSians are also expected at the event.
We will have opportunity to hear from the guests about their vision of BITS and their perspective of difference that BITS Alumni is poised to make to this world. We will also have elections for the Chapter’s next Managing committee. Dinner will follow after a round of introductions and inevitable Tambola. You are invited with your family for the function.
