Events

LA Meet & Greet Event on May 17, 2003. 

Thanks to all who attended the Meet-n-Greet event on May 17. It was quite a success for a first event. We hope that this would lead to more exciting gatherings in the near future. Neetu is in the process of uploading the snaps from the Event onto the BITSAA-LA website as well as the BITSAA International website. So be on the lookout for that.   
If any of you wish to take an active part in organizing events and managing the activities of the BITSAA-SoCal chapter, please feel free to e-mail the planning committee group at bitsaala_pc@yahoogroups.com.
 
Lastly, for those who did not attend and to remind those who did, Mukul Chawla (an ex-BITSian of the '93 batch; e-mail: mukul@bitsaa.org) presented the work being done by the BITS Alumni for BITS Connect, a project aiming to network the whole of BITS Pilani. This is a novel project that aims to put BITS in the top slot of technical Universities in India by providing top class infrastructure. Please view the presentation and an interview with the top brasses of this project on the BITSAA International website (www.bitsaa.org). Details on contributing to the project can be found on the BITSAA website. They need all the support, both monetary and organizational, to make it succeed. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
