Dear BITSian,

The much awaited, 'BITSians Day' is finally here - August 2nd, 2013 would be a spectacular day, witnessing the entire BITSian community coming together to celebrate the first ever BITSians Day!

How are BITSians celebrating BITSians Day '13?

BITSians in Synopsys, Oracle, Sabre holdings, Microsoft, Cisco, Amazon, Flipkart, Google and many other companies are gearing up for BITSians Day '13 - BITSians from across the world will wear a BITS Tshirts to work, this Friday and will showcase their BITSian pride in their workplaces.

Marathons, Lunch meets, Coffee-meets, Dinner meets with families - BITSAA Chapters across the world are organizing gala events on August 2nd. From reliving nostalgic BITSian days to planning for the BITSAA Global Meet (BGM 2014), the chapter events promise a lot of fun!

Participate - make BITSians day a grand success!

Here's how you can make BITSians Day '13 a grand success :
  1. Wear your BITS T-Shirt to Work on Friday, August 2nd. Meet your BITSian colleagues, click pictures and share them.

  2. Go out and meet your BITSian friends. Participate in the Chapter events that are planned in your city. Put 'latcha' and relive your BITSian Days!

  3. Shoot a 2 minute video with your BITSian friends, telling us ‘What it means to be a BITSian and what you miss the most about BITS’. Don't forget to end with 'Proud to be a BITSian'.

  4. Flood Social media with the video(s), pictures from your meet, the stories of how you and your friends celebrated the first ever 'BITSians Day'!

Meeting BITSians is definitely fun. What's awesome is clicking pictures capturing the celebrations, and telling the world how you and your friends celebrated the first ever BITSians Day!

Keep your cameras ready, click pictures and post them on the BITS Pilani Facebook page. Don't forget to tag your friends in these pictures!


The alumni of no other university has attempted something like this. Participate and make the first ever 'BITSians Day' a grand success!

I am Nishok of 2002 batch. since i am working in my home town that is in pollachi(coimbatore district) i am unable to participate in the BITSians day. Anyhow i wish to Congratulate all who was celebrating the BITSians day. by T.P.Nishokvarshaan B.S Pollachi
