Mr. Ajay Chaturvedi, Founder & Chairman of HarVa and Mr. Sarath Babu, Founder & CEO of Foodking Catering Services are among the eight Young India Leaders felicitated by IBN 18. Both of them are BITS Pilani alumni who proceeded to the best B-Schools for their higher education and are diverting their energy to serve the nation passionately.
Ajay is a Wharton Business school alumnus who started HarVa with an aim to assist rural India to access and harness the opportunities that urban India / local environment offers for a better quality of life. Ajay is a Partner at SeedKapital and serves on the management team of HarVa as a founder and CEO. Ajay has got immense experience in the areas of Management, Operations and IT Consulting across Financial Services, IT and ITeS industries in US, UK, and South East Asia. He was an ex-Citi banker for 4 years where he served in Strategy and Sales positions in Cards and Consumer banking verticals. He began his career with IBM consulting in US and he also worked across industries gaining experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, managing large scale multimillion dollar projects, skill development and transitioning projects across the globe. He also worked as the Transition Leader at Global Vantedge.
Sarath Babu, now synonymous with FoodKing, is an IIM-Ahmedabad graduate who gave up several high profile job offers to live an altogether different dream of providing employment opportunities to people. He dreams to witness a hunger free India thirty years from now and also stresses upon every kid being computer savvy, being able to speak, read and write English in addition to their mother tongue. He also contested in elections, which in itself is a successful entry into political arena. He is a leader who knows the hardships of people and who can truly support them in every possible way and help them sustain their lives.
