Sanjay Nath visit BITS Pilani Goa - Filip to entrepreneurship

Working for BITSAA Entrepreneurship Initiative, Mr. Sanjay Nath visited BITS-Pilani K.K.Birla Goa Campus to have an interaction with the members of Centre for Entrepreneurial Leadership (CEL) in Goa Campus on September 30^th 2011. 

Sanjay had an interactive discussion with Prof K.E. Raman (Director, Goa Campus), and then went straight to meet the to-be entrepreneurs from the Goa CEL (Centre of Entrepreneurial Leadership Team).

Amit Raj, President – CEL, BITS Goa and members of the BITSAAD team all got together to have a discussion around Entrepreneurship activities in and around campus. It was an informal chat over coffee at the cafeteria in true BITSian style. Sanjay extended great encouragement to all students who were dreaming of starting their own companies. He offered direct advice and support via the BITSAA network and also his venture’s extensive design – i.e. Blume Ventures to possibly mentor and seed-fund some start-up’s from campus.

It led to a lot of students taking notice of the ability for BITSians to come back and provide such great confidence into ideas, vision & dreams of many a young. We need more and more such BITSians to come back and provide a back-bone & nurturing to support extensively student activity beyond what is done now. 

About Sanjay Nath:

With over 15 years of management consulting, business development and operational experience in the Indo-U.S. corridor and a deep understanding of IT and BPO services industry, Mr. Sanjay Nath, is a renowned alumnus of BITS-Pilani University from 1990 Batch.

After completing his MBA from UCLA’s Anderson Graduate School of Management, he had worked as a Senior Consultant in PricewaterhouseCoopers' (PwC) and as a Principal in IBM Global Services’ Strategy Consulting practice, advising CxO level executives on high-impact organizational, technology and outsourcing related issues, on a global scale.

After Leaving IBM, he co-founded a company named Loxodrome Solutions, Inc.
(www.loxodromesolutions.com ), a legal process outsourcing venture that helps law firms and corporate legal departments dramatically reduce costs, improve turn-around times and gain access to India's high quality talent pool.

A member of Mumbai Angels and co-founder of Blume Ventures, Mr. Sanjay is passionate about mentoring and helping entrepreneurs and their young ventures grow and become successful, and is actively involved in entrepreneurship-oriented organizations such as the TiE-Silicon Valley Chapter, SVASE, The Churchill Club, and the VC Taskforce.
