BITSAA International welcomes all the members of the BITSian family around the world to join the annual shindig at the BITSAA Annual East Coast Reunion. For the very first time, the event is being organized in New York City.
This year's event will be a grand affair where wingies can spend an evening together, just like old times. Friends can reminisce those wonderful days listening to their favorite numbers dished out by ex-BITSians and dancing to the more modern versions of the same spun out by crafty DJs.
Our annual events in the past years were a blast. We had over 300 people dancing and partying into the night - it was a wonderful combination of Pilani music-nites and Roctaves all over again.
Thanks to our generous alumni, we also met our fundraising goals and raised enough money to continue our endowments to BITS.
Fun activities aside, this will also be a prime networking event. Hear the Guest Of Honor Vijay Nambiar speak. Mr. Nambiar is India's Permanent Rep to the UN (in other words, India's ambassador to the UN and currently Under Secretary General & Special Advisor to the UN Secretary General - Mr. Kofi Annan). Also hear what top BITSian achievers in Banking, Pharmacy, Investing (Hedge Funds, Private Equity), Technology, Consulting communities have to say to upcoming BITSians and meet some of the top stars who have made BITS very proud - Rajesh Hukku, SP Kothari, Vivek Philip.
Finally, we would also like to spend few minutes talking about BITS in past, present and how to help it grow into a world class university attracting some of the best talent.
