Prem Talreja ('70) - President

Prem Talreja is Director of Sales, Consumer Electronics Devices at Sigma Designs .He has over 25-years of experience in electronics industry with roles in marketing, product planning, corporate strategy, and revenue generation in the consumer electronics, digital entertainment, and semiconductor markets. He also is a part-time instructor of business courses at University of California Extension in Silicon Valley. He holds a MBA from the the Fuqua School of Business - Duke University , a MS degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison and a B E in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from BITS Pilani.

Bhargav Addala ('02) - Secretary

Bhargav is an Applications engineer in the E-Business Suite group at Oracle Corp. USA and is based in the Bay Area. Bhargav has been involved with BITSAA managing Bits2MsPhd as well as being the VP ,.Marketing & Outreach for the BITSAA Silicon Valley Chapter. At BITS, Bhargav was a member of the Corroboration and Review Committee (C.R.C.), a member of the Election Commission panel and a member of the Department of Photography. He completed his Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University (2008) and his B.E.(Hons.) Mechanical Engineering from BITS, Pilani (2006)

Kaushik Subramanian ('01) - Technology

Kaushik is currently working at Cypress Semiconductor, San Jose, California as Product Applications Engineer, focusing on new product definition, applications development and technical marketing. He graduated from BITS Pilani in 2006 with Bachelors in Electrical Engineering and Masters in Physics. While at BITS, he was a member of the Corroboration & Review Committee and actively involved in the activities of the Students' Union. He was among the first few students to participate in the Practice School Program in the Silicon Valley and has been working for the BITSAA Silicon Valley Chapter (BITSAA SVC) ever since.

Abhijeet Bhalerao ('03) - Technology

Abhijeet Bhalerao aka Bolero is a System design engineer with SanDisk and is based in the Bay area. Abhijeet completed his Masters in Electrical Engineering from Purdue (2010) and Bachelors in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from BITS, Pilani (2007). At BITS, he was a part of Department of Photography. He was involved with BITSAA as a team leader at BITS2MSPHD.

Venkata Sastry Malladi ('00) - Operations

Sastry is currently working as a Software Engineer at Google Inc. He graduated from BITS, Pilani in 2004 and holds a Master's Degree from Columbia University, New York. Like many, he has an unfulfilled wish from his stay at BITS - to visit the Birla Museum - which he plans to fulfill the next time he visits Pilani. He occasionally shows off his BITS pride by making Fried Paneer Maggi for his non-BITSian friends.

Venkata Rajesh Mekala  ('02) - Operations

Rajesh is a Hardware Engineer at Nvidia Corporation, USA. He completed his Masters from Texas A & M University (2010) and obtained B.E.(Hons.) Electrical Engineering from BITS-Pilani (2006). Rajesh is looking forward for contributing his bit in various activities of BITSAA.

Prasanthi Relangi ('01) - Operations

Prasanthi is a Senior Verification Engineer at Link-A-Media Devices, Santa Clara. She holds a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a B.E(Hons) Electrical and Electronics Engineering Degree from BITS Pilani. In her spare time, she likes painting, reading, going around in the Bay Area and having fun :). She is looking forward to more fun as a part of the BITSAA SVC team!

Indranil Roychoudhury ('00) - Outreach
Indranil (a.k.a. Indro) is currently a Computer Scientist, Post Doctorate, with SGT Inc., at the Prognostics Center of Excellence, Intelligent Systems Division, NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, CA. In BITS, he was a member of the Department of Art and Decoration, Department of Planning and Publicity, and the EEE Association. He received the B.E. (Hons.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BITS, Pilani in 2004, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from Vanderbilt University, in 2006 and 2009, respectively.

Lakshmanan Arunachalam ('99) - Miles Program

Lakshmanan is currently working at Nokia , Mountain View as a software engineer, focusing on application development in their new mobile OS. He graduated from BITS Pilani in 2003 with Bachelors in Electronics and Instrumentation engineering.At BITS, he was a member of NSS and E&I association.

Kartik Bandhuvula ('02) - Sponsorship & Fundraising

Kartik aka Dolby is a 2002 batch BITSian, currently works as a Design Engineer at NVIDIA, Inc in Silicon Valley. Kartik has been associated with BITSAA Silicon Valley Chapter for nearly four years. He has been actively involved in organizing various BITSAA events in the valley. At BITS, he was a member of the EEE Association and Backstage. Kartik holds a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University (2008) and a B.E.(Hons) Electrical and Electronics degree from BITS Pilani.
