You may donate to BITSAA International through the following methods:OnlinePlease visit our fundraising page to donate online. Do not forget to mention the Project ID (eg: GS100) you're donating for.CheckPlease direct your check according to the fund and currency you would like to donate in. Also, please fill out this form to help us track your donation.
Stocks and SecuritiesYou can also consider making a gift of appreciated stock (or mutual fund shares) rather than a cash donation. A gift of appreciated property often provides increased tax benefits. A signed instruction letter has to go out from you to your broker/custodian regarding this. Click here for more information about the (double) tax benefits and other details.Life Insurance PoliciesIf the original need for which a policy was bought no longer exists, a gift of this asset can be rewarding, particularly if the policy is fully paid up.BequestsGifts by bequest enable a donor to make significant contributions that may not have been possible during life. While determining the final distribution of a donor’s estates, the donor can designate a portion of their assets towards any of giving options on the table via BITSAA or via any other choice that can be created in consultation with BITSAA and BITS.Other MethodsDepending on a donor’s unique circumstances and financial situation, there are several other avenues that can be availed of to contribute. These include donating tangible personal property, gifts in trust, charitable gift annuities, and so on. Please contact the BITSAA Investments Team or reach out to BITSAA CIO Rajesh Chelapurath if you have questions or would like to know more about the paperwork.
